Potential users and customers are out there waiting for you to convert them to warm leads, but it's tricky to figure out the best way to identify them with few resources. Join Zipfian Academy co-founder Jonathan Dinu for this 4 part workshop series on introductory data science topics.

Tickets available on Eventbrite.

In growth, marketing, and analytics, you're sitting on great data about your users and customers that can help you solve these problems. You're probably using Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and/or Optimizely, but there's more you can do.

In this hands-on workshop, we'll show you how to work deeply with your own data about site visitors, registered users, and customers. You'll leave understanding what data is most important to your business and how to use it to build value for your company.

What you'll do (with our help!):

• Turn observations about users into actionable metrics to drive business decisions

• Learn which observations and metrics about users are most important

• Learn the basics of Machine Learning Theory and how to apply it using scikit-learn

• Work with a data set to measure customer churn, forecast sales, and optimize funnels

• Take back tactics to apply in your current position

We'll work with a data set about a prepared meals company called ReadyChef. Working with data from traffic on the site, we will take you through understanding the value of traffic from various referrals, and predicting the likelihood that users will convert, churn, or remain given that they come from a particular source.
