Riak version 2.0 includes deep changes affecting all facets of Riak, along with a wide variety of new features unavailable in previous versions. Upgrading to 2.0 will change how you use Riak only if you want it to. But even if you don't plan on using the new features, there are a number of improvements that make upgrading a good choice.
