Senate Intelligence Committee Hearing: Last Thursday the Senate Intelligence Committee held a hearing on the House-passed FISA - USA FREEDOM Act and the Senate proposed Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) reforms. Great news that witnesses testified about the overly broad definition of “specific selection terms” and the Senators appear to understand and take the issue seriously. Data Scientists by Education 2014: For most data scientist positions it is mandatory to have a graduate degree: according to recent survey by Burtch Works 46% have doctorates, 42% masters, 11% bachelors and 1% no degree. See: http://bit.ly/1rWHWan
